Madras Institute of Development Studies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu is currently hiring for the role of Statistical Data Analyst or Data Manager.
As a Statistical Data Analyst or Data Manager, your role will involve proficiency in various aspects of statistical data analysis such as designing models, monitoring and organizing data, preparing quality checks, generating error reports, documenting and reporting analysis results, and effectively communicating your findings to the team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals and continuously learn and apply statistical techniques to solve complex research challenges.
Job Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as STATA and R
- Experience in conducting complex statistical analyses including ANOVA, regression, and sampling
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of tools like SSRS, Tableau, and Business Intelligence
- Experience in survey research, data collection, and processing
Apart from technical skills, we are looking for candidates who are excellent team players with strong coordination skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities are crucial, as you will be expected to summarize and present analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
